The Rev. Adam Fairchild

The Rev. Adam Fairchild serves as our Pastor. A native Marylander, he studied theology and pastoral ministry in New Jersey before returning to Maryland to complete his pastoral formation through the Delaware-Maryland Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Adam is passionate about preaching, teaching, pastoral care ministries, and building community centered in Christ. Whether in weekly worship or in a midweek conversation, he loves to spend time with Prince of Peace parishioners and with newcomers!

Prior to coming to Prince of Peace, Adam served at Hope Lutheran Church in Essex, MD, and at Christ Lutheran Church in Baltimore, MD. He has a B.A. in History and a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland. He received his Master’s of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, where met his wife, Miriam Hanson Fairchild.

Miriam is an ordained Lutheran Pastor who works as the Lead Oncology Chaplain at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In his free time, you can likely find Adam reading, cooking, hiking, or rooting for the Orioles and Ravens.
